So we heard so much about Hicks Nursery for years and when we moved to the neighborhood we tried them to landscape our new house. It was we blank canvas as we had removed what was previously there. Ken was our designer and he was wonderful! He worked with our busy schedule and was flexible. He designed the space and came to the house to present it to us. He gave us several options of how to implement it as we wanted to do it in stages and he really listened to exactly what we wanted. He presented the design to us and accompanied the design with a packet of photos of what each plant looked like in bloom so that we could envision the final product. This was very important to us because we found it hard to envision how it would look. He explained the reasoning behind the choice of each plant. He designed the space so it would have some color for most of the year honoring our request for as much color as possible. They completed everything we wanted in one day. He followed up to make sure we were pleased and had been satisfied. We look forward to implementing the next stage in the Spring. We are thrilled with the results so far. It will need to grow in of course (that was part of the design) and we will see the full product over the seasons as well. We are charmed by our new garden and can’t wait to see the changes as it grows!

We needed some tall dead bushes removed from a 15 foot wide strip in the backyard. The staff at Hicks assisted us with picking out shrubs that were suitable for our needs. A manager came to our house and inspected the site and made further helpful suggestions. The crew that did the actual removal and planting arrived on time and was experienced and careful. They asked for my approval at several critical times before proceeding. they did a truly professional job an cleaned upwhen finished. I couldn't be happier with the results and the way that the Hicks employees did their job.

It was real pleasure to do business with Hicks Nurseries in Westbury!! All of the personnel were helpful as I selected & purchased trees to provide a privacy barrier on my property. William Winiecki, the General Manager was invaluable. He visited my home and was able to advise me regarding the placement and watering of the trees, and, also what additional watering tools I needed. The landscapers worked in sweltering heat to complete the planting of the trees - which look lovely. Kudos to Hicks!!

Bill at Hicks was incredible!! Knowledgeable, incredibly helpful and made sure that I was getting want I really wanted!! The crew that did the plantings were courteous, fast, neat, and did an awesome job! I can't wait till next year to work on my backyard with Hicks, Bill and their amazing crew!!
